Dead Reckoning

Dead Reckoning - Charlaine Harris

This book was not particularly enjoyable. In addition, Sookie was extremely hard to like. While she's never been the most open-minded person, in this book she was particularly hypocritical, whiny, and judgmental almost to the point of bigotry. I agree with the reviewers who suspect the author only wrote this out of contractual obligation. She's no feminist, either. Also, Harris should never write characters that aren't white, because she inevitably turns them into stereotypes. I don't plan on reading the final two books.
